How Consignment Works
We sell your gently used women's clothing and accessories at pop-up shops in and around Crozet. A portion of the sales price goes to you and a portion goes to Hello Again.
The Basics
What is consignment?
Consignment is a partnership where individuals (like you!) bring their items to a store (like us!) to sell on their behalf. If an item sells, you receive a percentage of the final sale price, and Hello Again keeps a commission. We do not buy items outright or offer immediate payment. Instead, consignors are paid if and after their
items sell, based on our established consignment terms. Consignment is a convenient, sustainable way for your gently-used or high-quality pieces to get a second life—while earning money without the hassle of selling yourself.
Where does Hello Again sell consignment items?
We host day-long or multi-hour shopping events at local organizations in and around Crozet. During these events, shoppers can check out our inventory in-person. We do not currently sell online. View our calendar of events>
When and where can I bring my clothes?
Consignment items are accepted by appointment only. We have limited appointments available during our pop-up events or you can schedule a porch pickup. Schedule an appointment today.
What items do you accept?

What sizes do you accept?
We proudly accept and carry a wide range of sizes and aim to stock a diverse and inclusive selection that reflects real people, real bodies, and real life.
How many items can I consign at a time?
First-time consignors must bring a minimum of 5 items to their first appointment or first pickup. Once you’ve consigned with us, you can bring in as few as one item and a maximum of 25 items.
How often can I consign with Hello Again?
You can consign with us once a month. This helps us provide a variety of inventory to shoppers and enough time for you to collect more things to consign.
Can I get my stuff back?
We do not return items to consignors so please do not consign items with us unless you are ready to part with them. Anything unsold at the end of the term is donated to a local nonprofit we trust.
What happens to items that don't sell?
For items that are not selected for consignment and for items that expire, we work with community partners to find items a good home. These partners currently include Green Olive Tree and Goodwill Industries of the Valleys.
Selling & Payment Info
What percentage do I receive? What is my payout?
Consignors receive 30% of the final sale price via ACH direct deposit or 50% of final sale price in store credit.
When do I get paid?
Payments are issued once your item sells at the end of each month via ACH direct deposit.
How do you determine pricing?
Our team sets prices based on brand, condition, and current market trends. We generally price items at 50% of the original retail price and increase or decrease the percentage as needed. Hello Again may decrease the price or move items to a sales section at any time.
